#FANTASY GROUNDS 2 CHARACTER SHEET GENERATOR#
Here is a list of what the character generator does for you: This is not an oversight but a design choice which makes it much easier to maintain and extend the generator. Here it differs from the Excel Generator also available for IKRPG.

However, it is not meant to be a full blown character manager that would help you spending XP after character creation. it will autofill weapons and spells) which saves you time. It allows you to fill out parts of the character sheet automatically instead of filling all values yourself (e.g. This character generator is built to support you in exactly that! So when you are creating lots and lots of characters you need tools that make your life easier. We always loved creating diverse characters for role playing games.Īnd (maybe much like yours?) the vast of our characters remain concepts and are never played.

Pasting that gibberish into the import/export field and clicking to import the character will update your sheet.Įxport seed for current cards Fill out cards using current seed You can import/export character cards should you need them in a different browser, clear your browser cache or email them to a friend.Įxporting cards will give you a gibberish representation of your character that you can copy. Only you can access them and only in the browser you saved them in. We do not have access to your characters. We have modified them so you can fill, print, and save them in your browser!Īfter you saved them they are only visible to you. And while I can understand why in you might want to hide character sheets from other players, I am very surprised to hear there is no way to share the view? I mean in real life pen&paper you can show other players your character sheet if you really want to.These are the (slightly modified) official Full Metal Fantasy and Unleashed character sheets So I came here to ask what I did in order to make this happen as I assumed it was a normal feature, but from what I am gathering from the responses.I should not have been able to do this? But I did it twice at least.Īs for letting other players see each others character sheets, as players I know they normally can't see them, but as I was playing around with being the GM, I thought there would be an option to make character sheets visible to other players, much like you can for other stuff in Fantasy Grounds. I was playing around/clicking stuff and it happened.
Normally, when you are just a player, you double click your character in the characters, right? But if you are the GM, then when you double click, it makes the character sheet come up (so you can view it), but does NOT add it "as player" and put the portrait on the top left. My friend was connected to my GM server and had his own character up as well. This was while I was ONLY running ONE client version.
Here is the thing, I don't know how I did it, but as the GM, I have somehow accidentally made one of my characters' portrait appear in the top left (and thus be a "player") which means I could put her in the combat tracker and such.
